About Us
cody21 and acodemy
cody21 is the product of acodemy GmbH, Austria's leading digital education institution for children.
"We know what it's like to stand in front of a class and teach a brand-new topic, especially one you're not completely confident with yet."
We developed cody21 to support schools and teachers in digital literacy, computer science education, and media literacy.

Digital literacy is our passion and our mission at acodemy
cody21 was developed by our company, acodemy, to bring digital literacy, computer science, and media education to primary schools.
acodemy was Austria's first programming school for children, offering programming courses and holiday camps for young people aged 6 to 17. Over the past few years, we have inspired more than 30,000 children to explore coding, programming, and IT, and have received numerous awards for our work.
We have always paid close attention to what children and teens, both girls and boys, enjoy most and how they learn best.
The cody21 interactive video series is built on our extensive experience, combined with the knowledge and expertise gained through our studies and research.
You can find more about us on acodemy Website.
The Team behind cody21

ANNA RELLE STIEGER, MEng, MSc
Founder and Managing Director
"As a mother, I’ve always wanted to give my two boys three things above all: endless love, unforgettable childhood memories, and the best possible preparation for the world ahead—wishes I know many parents share. As my sons have grown, I’ve seen how the challenges for both parents and schools have become even greater in today’s world.
With cody21, we’re helping equip the next generation with a timely understanding of the digital world - through thoughtful learning, fun, a sense of community, and a spirit of adventure."
Anna is originally from Budapest and has lived in Vienna since 1990. She studied electrical engineering at the Budapest University of Technology, followed by law and economics at the Vienna University of Technology. After many years as a manager in international corporations, she founded acodemy in 2016.
In her free time, Anna loves being outdoors. She enjoys riding her racing bike, sailing, and relaxing in the sun with a good book.

ANNA ROSA ERNECKER, BSc.
Business Development Manager Austria
"Making children curious about the digital world and supporting them as they face the future with confidence - that’s what motivates me every day."
It all began at acodemy in 2019, where Anna Rosa started as a trainer. Coordinating the Linz location became a particularly rewarding experience for her. It brought together her organizational strengths and passion for connecting with people, helping to foster digital literacy and inspire young learners.
Since 2024, Anna Rosa has served as the Austria-wide coordinator and business development manager for cody21, working to ensure that primary school children across the country have access to high-quality digital education. Her efforts help bridge digital gaps and support the integration of digital literacy into classrooms throughout Austria.
Anna Rosa studied business administration with a special focus on customer experience. "I truly believe every project only makes sense if it ultimately helps the people who use it - in our case, the schools and teachers."
Outside of work, she enjoys being out and traveling, exploring nature, or taking walks with her dog, Bobby.

TIN PECIREP, MEng.
Tech Lead cody21
"Technology shouldn’t just function - it should inspire and motivate. That’s why, with cody, it was essential to make the technology intuitive and flexible for both teachers and students. I’m excited to be part of creating something that makes learning easier and more accessible, especially for children exploring the digital world"
Tin studied software engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and has been working passionately in the field ever since. While still a student, he worked as a programming coach at acodemy, inspiring many children through Minecraft programming.
In 2023, Tin conceived, designed, and implemented the first proprietary software system behind cody21. From the initial idea through to a fully operational platform, he led the process, ensuring that the Cody21 platform and media center provide a user-friendly, stable, and flexible environment for digital learning.
When he’s not at his computer, Tin enjoys climbing, capturing new perspectives with his camera, and spending time in nature - especially among rock faces and sunsets.

We are especially proud that...
What brings us the greatest joy is seeing children’s eyes light up, hearing their thoughtful questions, or watching them proudly present a project they’ve designed and programmed themselves.
We are also delighted when our work is recognized by Ministers, Authorities, and the wider Community.
We, the acodemy team, are proud of the awards we have received in the last years:

What we focused on with the cody21 video series...
We carefully developed the curriculum for the cody21 video series on computer science education and media literacy for primary schools, drawing on many years of experience in digital education for children. Our priority was to provide teaching and learning materials that
* are very easy for teachers to use,
* are produced to a high standard,
* are thoughtfully designed from both didactic and pedagogical perspectives,
* explain and present concepts in an age-appropriate way for primary school children,
* and make learning fun for students.

Our Values
At acodemy, we are guided by a set of core values and goals, both in how we teach and how we work:
We love children.
Children are at the heart of everything we do - they are our focus, our future, and the inspiration behind all our thoughts, feelings, and actions. They are the true measure of our success. We deeply value the trust parents place in us, and we carry this responsibility with the utmost care and respect.
Every child is unique.
Every child - every girl and every boy - is a unique individual, and we are honored to help them grow. We meet each child with empathy, and we respond to their needs and talents. We inspire and motivate, empower and nurture, and encourage them to take on new challenges at a pace that feels right for them.
Children's time is precious.
We value every moment they spend with us, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for, while helping them get the most out of their experience.
For us, success means building both skills AND enthusiasm in children.
Our programs are designed to help children build practical abilities in digital education and media literacy, all while making sure they are having lots of fun.
We believe that hands-on activities and creative media projects are the perfect way to make this happen.
We look to the world of tomorrow.
We design our programs with a clear focus on the skills that will be valuable for children in their future world.
Inspiration is at the heart of what we do.
We encourage children to discover and grow their own potential. For educators, this means being more than just great teachers or instructors. They are also mentors and positive role models for every child.
We believe in the power of change and continuous progress.
We keep moving, always looking for new possibilities, and turning them into reality. Others might try to follow, but we are always a step ahead!
In our programs, we set high standards and are always looking for new ways to improve.
