The streaming platform and video series cody21 is designed to make digital education as easy as possible for teachers at primary school . That is why we are always there for you if you need support or if questions arise. Below you will find the questions we have received so far, maybe yours is among them. Questions about your access data:
I have not received an email with the access data.
Please check whether the email could have ended up in the spam folder.

I have forgotten my password, what should I do?
Please ask your colleagues or head teacher, you have a password for the whole school.
In an emergency (please only in an emergency), you can reset the password here: https://videos.cody21.com/ by clicking on "Forgot password".
In this case, please inform all colleagues so that they have access to Media Center again.
May I pass on my access data to my colleagues at school?
Yes, the access data is valid for your entire school. Please share them with your colleagues.
Can I pass on my school's access data outside the school?
No. The access data is only intended for your school, never pass it on outside your school, otherwise we will not be able to maintain your school account.

Technical questions about the use of cody21
How can I quickly watch the next episode on my cell phone to prepare?
To do this, please switch to "Switch to desktop website" in the top right-hand menu on your cell phone so that the video is displayed.
The video freezes during playback, what can I do?
If the video freezes, your internet connection is unfortunately too weak to play the video in the usual quality. You can reduce the quality of the video so that it still runs smoothly. To do this, click on the cogwheel at the bottom right of the video. The lower the number, the less good your internet connection must be.
Can I download the video?
No, you cannot download the video, but you are welcome to play it more often.
Questions about the cody task sheets and the videos:
The students in my class often finish the exercises more quickly. What can I do?
In some cases, classes finish exercises before the hourglass has even run out. This happens, for example, with small or particularly skilled classes. There is a very simple solution for this:
In all our videos there are yellow dots in the timeline below the video. These yellow dots always mark the last 5 seconds of an hourglass. If you finish a task faster, you can simply click on the next yellow dot to jump to the end of the hourglass and continue.
The students in my class need more time for the tasks. What can I do?
You can solve this very easily. If you need more time, simply stop the cody video by clicking on "Pause" and finish the task at your leisure.
How do I know which materials are needed for the cody lesson?
In the lesson screen below the respective cody video, you will find all the necessary information for the respective cody sequence: which task sheets you need to print and how often, and which materials are required. Each cody sequence only requires materials that are always available in a classroom or that the pupils have in their school bags.

Can I also start with a different cody episode?
Yes, if you are particularly interested in a digital topic, you can start with this one first. However, as the videos build on each other, we recommend that you follow the specified order.
